Description
This is a picture I did for a little project scheduled for February 2009. Diaochan is a Chinese woman who is said to have been important in Chinese history, but whose existence is yet to prove.I did two linearts for this, one with a brown pen and the other digitally. In the end I chose the traditional one because the other looked impersonal and empty. The pen lineart looked like it was telling a story, and I think it turned out quite nice with the colors.
I was experimenting with style too. This painting is much inspired by Guo Guo's artworks.
